SCHOOL NURSES ON THE FRONT LINES

UNIFICATION

Unification means that the state affiliate unites with NASN. Th dues are combined and when you join one association, you will be joining them both. More than half of NASN's affiliates are unified at this time. NASN is working toward unification of all affiliates by 2010.

When members belong to both organizations, they have equal access to information and benefits, which facilitates understanding and teamwork. National and state organizations are great compliments to each other. To learn more about NASN membership go to www.nasn.org.

If WVASN votes to unify with NASN then you will have to join both Associations to belong to either. This is a very important vote for the WVASN membership. You will want to look at all the issues carefully so you can make an informed vote.
